Physical Activity Recommendations

Hello babes!! Happy Wednesday!!  I hope that you are having a great start to your week!  If you haven't found time to workout yet this week...set aside 30 minutes of your day today for you and your body!

Actually, working out is what I want to talk a little bit about today!  How are you supposed to plan your workouts if you don't know how often you should be exercising???  Well today I have got the answer to that for you!

The American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise.  The easiest way to remember it is 30 minutes a day five days a week.  It is also recommended that you do strength training at least twice a week!

While these are the recommendations, remember it is ALWAYS better to do something over nothing!  If you don't have time to make it to the gym, come up with a little at home circuit to do or go for a walk/jog.  

Learn to take YOU time everyday!  Use that time to set goals, reach goals, release stress, and thank your body for all of the hard work it does!!
