Happy Wednesday babes!! Today is a great day to be alive!
The past two weeks I have talked about overcoming mental blocks and fear/failure which have prepared the way for what I am talking about today! When it comes to running, mental blocks and fear of failure are the two things that hold me back. Like I talked about last week you can either run from your fears or crash right into them! Well I have decided to crash right into them (and you can too)! Join me in the Kenzie Rae Fitness Mile Challenge! For the next 6 weeks (once a week) run a mile as fast as you can (pushing through the mental blocks and filling your mind with "I cans" instead of "I can'ts"). Each week push to get your mile faster than the last week (whether it's by one minute or one second). At the end of the 6 weeks you will have pushed through the mental blocks you once thought you couldn't AND overcome your fear of failure!
No matter where you are at fitness-wise you can join in on this challenge! It would be an understatement if I said I am am terrible runner! I love running, but I am awful at it (which is why I chose a running challenge)! Running is something I really want to improve on and something that challenges me mentally! My time for my first week was 7 minutes and 53 seconds (and I was dying haha!). Share with me if you decide to do the challenge!
